1946-Hershey's Herbie Cain scored four goals in route to a BEARS 10-2 victory over the Springfield Indians at HERSHEYPARK Arena. Two of Cain's goals came while the BEARS were short-handed.

Dave Fay receives highest honor as NHL beat writer
My friend, Mike Vogel of the Washington Capitals has a terrific write up on Dave Fay's induction into the NHL Hall of Fame. Please check it out by clicking on the title.Dave had visited Hershey a few times over the last two seasons, and would always ask me how the BEARS were doing when I was in D.C. This man truly cared about the entire organization and the future of it. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him, and all who read him.
